Scrabble did not allow players to use two-letter words spelled in upper case. However, the rules were changed in 2018 when Scrabble recognized many new words.

So, is ‘OK’ accepted as a valid word in the Scrabble dictionary?

‘OK’ is a Valid Scrabble Word

‘OK’ is valid in Scrabble. The word was included in the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary in 2018, along with 300 other terms.

The word is also in Collins Scrabble Words and Official Tournament and Club Word List.

You can use ‘OK’ as an official Scrabble word in the US, Canada, UK, Thailand, Australia, and other regions.

Any new edition of Scrabble will accept the word for 11 points.

‘OK’ is also a legitimate term in Words with Friends. It is worth 10 points in the game.

What is the Meaning of ‘OK?’

Most of us are aware of the definition of ‘OK.’ It is the abbreviation for ‘okay’ or ‘oll korrect.’

The term means yes or alright and shows agreement. ‘OK’ can be used as a verb, adverb, adjective, or noun, as per Merriam-Webster.

Additionally, ‘OK’ is a family of languages spoken in Papua New Guinea. It is also short for the American state of Oklahoma.

Can You Make Any New Word with ‘OK?’

You can add more letters to ‘OK’ to make more valid words in Scrabble. It is also possible to rearrange the order to form new words.
